What Is a Good Manual Click Test Score?

Manual mode has no fixed duration, so a single CPS number means something different depending on how long you clicked. Ten CPS held for five seconds and ten CPS held for three minutes are very different achievements. Use the ranges below to find which fixed-duration test your session was closest to, then compare your score against that page's scale instead of a generic number here.

Under 10 seconds

Burst range

Closest to the 1-second or 5-second tests. Expect a high number here since there's no time for fatigue to factor in.

10 seconds to 1 minute

Pacing range

Closest to the 30-second or 1-minute tests. Technique and rhythm start to matter more than raw burst speed.

1 to 3 minutes

Early endurance range

Closest to the 2-minute or 3-minute tests. Fatigue and grip start to matter more than technique.

Extended endurance range

The fatigue calculation on this site only runs when a test has a preset duration longer than 5 seconds, and manual mode's length is entirely up to you, so it never has a preset duration to check against. This means no fatigue reading shows here, regardless of how long you actually clicked, even if you went well past what would trigger one on a timed test.
Whatever length actually matches what you're trying to find out. If you want your absolute peak burst speed, a few seconds is enough. If you're testing whether a technique holds up for a specific real use case, like a particular length of gameplay, matching that exact length is more useful than guessing at a round number.
Yes. Even a few seconds of clicking produces a genuine, accurately calculated CPS score, the same underlying measurement the fixed-duration tests use. What you won't get is a meaningful comparison against a scale, since a short manual session is really a burst test in spirit; the 1-second or 5-second test is the more natural comparison for that kind of short attempt.
Short sessions of regular or butterfly clicking are completely safe. Jitter clicking involves tensing the muscles in your arm and hand repetitively, which can cause strain if overdone. We recommend keeping jitter clicking sessions under 5 minutes and taking a break if you feel any discomfort in your wrist or forearm. If you experience persistent pain, stop and rest. CPS testing as a casual activity is harmless, so just avoid treating very long high-intensity sessions as competitions.
