CPS Test Kit (https://cpstestkit.com) is a free set of browser-based tools for testing click speed, reaction time, and related skills. This page explains what happens with your information when you use the site.
No accounts, no first-party cookies
You don't need to register or provide any personal information to use any tool here. The site itself never sets cookies directly. Everything it stores locally uses your browser's localStorage instead.
What's stored on your device
When you use a tool, your results, personal bests, saved game progress, and preferences (like sound or theme settings) are saved locally in your browser. This includes your Weekly Leaderboard entries. The leaderboard lives entirely on your own device, so scores are never sent to or stored on our servers, and other visitors don't see your entries or you theirs. Clearing your browser data removes all of this permanently; we keep no copy and can't recover it for you.
Anti-cheat & verification features
Some tools analyze the timing pattern of your clicks locally, in your browser, to flag unusually consistent or fast input. This analysis never leaves your device. Certain results also let you optionally start a screen recording (using your browser's screen-capture permission) to create a verification clip. This stays in your browser and is never uploaded anywhere unless you choose to save or share it yourself.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services, each gated behind your consent choice in our cookie preferences tool:
- Google AdSense displays ads and may set cookies to personalize them. Manage this at Google's Ads Settings.
- Google Analytics (GA4) helps us understand site usage, with IP addresses anonymized. Opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Neither loads until you've given consent, and you can change your choice anytime using " " below. Our host (Cloudflare) and our blog's image delivery (Sanity) also process standard technical data, like IP address, as part of normal web hosting. This is routine infrastructure, not tracking.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has shared information with us via email, contact us and we'll remove it.
